9 Nollywood Actresses Who Married Other Women’s Husband

1. Mercy Johnson 

Mercy has three children with Prince Odianosen Okojie, whom she married in 2011. Mrs. Lovely Okojie sent an open letter to Mercy Johnson in 2011 requesting that she leave her spouse and find a single guy to marry. Lovely Okojie claimed that her two children were fathered by Prince Odi Okojie, who was still legally married to her at the time.

2. Ini Edo

Ini Edo married her American-based husband, Phillips Ehiagwina, in 2008. A year before, Ruth Okoro, who was supposed to be Phillips’ wife (at the time), reportedly addressed an open letter to the actress, urging her to avoid her husband. The actress and her spouse divorced in 2014. Ini Edo and Phillip Ehiagwina had no children throughout their marriage, which made the divorce process smoother.

3. Stella Damasus

Stella Damasus certainly has a track record with guys. In 1999, she married her first spouse, Jaiye Aboderin, when she was 21 years old. Before Jaiye died unexpectedly in 2005, the couple had two kids. Damasus gave love another try and remarried, this time to Emeka Nzeribe, in 2007. The marriage lasted seven months until the couple agreed to split. Then, in 2011, it was revealed that she was dating Nollywood producer and director Daniel Ademinokan, who was married to Doris Simeon; a relationship that sparked many controversies across Nigeria and Africa because neither party publicly admitted to be dating, engaged, or even married until 2014.

4. Nuella Njubigbo

Nuella Njubigbo married film director Tchidi Chikere on March 29, 2014, after six years of marriage to actress Sophia Chikere, a partnership that produced three children in her family compound in Anambra State. Their relationship drew a lot of public criticism since she was accused of breaking up Tchidi Chikere’s first marriage in order to have him all to herself.

5. Foluke Daramola

Babatunde Sobowale, the son of former Lagos State Commissioner of Education Professor Idowu Sobowale, and actress Foluke Daramola wed in 2005; their marriage disintegrated in 2008 amid claims that the actor had been physically abused by her husband as retaliation for the suspicions of adultery. Two children were born from their relationship. On February 15, 2013, Foluke wed Kayode Salako, an activist and proprietor of a private school. According to reports, Mr. Salako was blissfully married to a pastor affiliated with the RCCG for 13 years before to her marriage to him, at which time she departed with her three children.

6. Mercy Aigbe
